What we did:
- Refined UI for a A/B testing flow
- Trying to learn how ghost works +1
- Implementing XO Ruby homepage updates and cleaning up crufty css
- Document Flagrant website design system work
- Recorded an episode of the IndieRails podcast with hosts Jeremy Smith and Jess Brown due out March 4th
- Scheduled an appearance with David Hill on the Ode To RailsConf podcast
- Automated the refreshing of the Training Tracker Site map.
- Allowed Training Tracker Users to filter Assignments based on Task Groups
- Added a Newsletter signup to Training Tracker
- Created a Newsletter template for Training Tracker and I will be sending out the first newsletter next week.
- Sent off Training Tracker playing card designs for print
- Completed an 800 pc online jigsaw puzzle during our monthly Flagrant Recharge
- Design review on multiple months of development work for a client project
- Built a reusable table component with expandable rows in React

What we’re struggling with:
- Insurance
- A sick baby
- Is winter over yet?
- A week of below freezing weather
- gestures everywhere – politics and facism seeping into daily brain space… again
- 10” of snow in New Orleans (the most we’ve gotten since 1895)
- Itchy tattoo healing/adhesive sensitivity with dry skin in winter temps!
What we’re buying:
- Jurassic tour tickets
- A NEW FURNACE (cue the Price is Right music, then sad trombone)
- Lodging, tours, and other travel things for an upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon
What we’re celebrating:
- My birthday (Jan 23rd)
- Getting my sister addicted to stardew valley
- Painting upstairs
- Getting to celebrate Lunar New Year with family and old friends 🐍
- Outside temperatures being over 60 degrees
- Deleting my Twitter account
- Snowball fights, the joy of Southerners experiencing snow, and the welcome distraction of 10” of snow in New Orleans (and the power stayed on!)
- My son getting a summer internship job in Northern Alberta.
