What we did:
- Learned about Magic Link and how to implement that
- Re-learned about GDPR compliance
- Researching animation tools to aid in design of an app that helps teach children to read
- Wired up a clickable interface on a new React project using contexts, reducers and hooks
- Branded the Training Tracker error pages
- Finished Training Tracker’s 2025 budget
- Started solidifying an internal project’s branding and landing page (hopefully it will be ready to share soon!)
- Delivered a logo system for a client
- Developing a gameplan for Flagrant team members when they’re on the bench and don’t have an active client project
- Close to finishing Flagrant’s 2025 budget

- The Christmas Prince (it is terrible, only watched for how bad it is) It’s so bad that they made two additional movies (…Royal Wedding and …Royal Baby)
- Jingle all the way (fun story, in this movie Arnold backs up into a motorcycle and I got to see him do that in real life on a trip to California, but it was bicycles that he backed into)

What we’re interested in:
- Rails Caching
- Trying the fancy mochi I got yesterday
- A saffron, rosewater, cardamom, pistachio tiramisu recipe (something like this)
- The fact that AI tools do are not allowed to provide song lyrics or parody them but are trained on whole sets of functional software
What we’re struggling with:
- Ongoing construction in the apartment building
- The ambient temperature of a Michigan basement
- The itchy stage of tattoo healing
- Getting sick and losing my voice
- Bought each kid a hoverboard for christmas but they don’t work and one was used (never was told it was used and the box appeared as new). The company is apparently out of business so no replacement parts can be sent - thanks Dunhams
- Broken iPad :(
What we’re buying:

- A new set of tires for grandma

What we’re celebrating:
- The opportunities available in a new year
- Hanging with family +2
- Home cooked Indian food, chai, and lots of delicious food with family over the holidays
- A dopey-looking frog statue I received in white elephant
- A good holiday season of pottery sales
- Returning home to snuggly cats
