What we did:
- Had a meeting with Metis Communications to talk about how to let the world know we’re here.
- Looked forward and set SMART goals for the next six months for Valenzia, Jonathan B, and Jonathan G via Sticky Note Game.
- Had my first Sticky Note game and set goals for the next 6 months.
- Started taking a Figma course.
- Agreed to a date for the next in-person pre-board meeting.
- Introduced Supplier Link to our first group of alpha users!
- Messed around with some Turbo caching by Preparing The Page To Be Cached and Detecting When A Preview Is Visible.
- Upgraded Language and Framework for WomenEmployed.org.
- Explored Language version incompatibilities with SickTimeChicago.org.
- Asked for (and received) additional permissions from usability test participants to share video clips in our findings report. Prepared and delivered a usability test findings report as well as a presentation.
- Marketing site(s) - working on what content will boost sales and interest, designing homepages and determining the look and feel - 3 different clients 3 different feels.
- Outlined an approach for updating all components in a client application to use a new, more accessible color palette and address design debt.
- Filed annual reports for Colorado and Louisiana.

What we’re struggling with:
- Home-ownership - when things break…continuously…$$$. Also, unannounced dryer delivery at 7am then finding out that the outlet was the wrong type of outlet and having 48 hours to check if the new appliance works.
- Feeling unable to put down a book that isn’t that great, and upon finishing said book, feeling no satisfaction.
- Cat kidney disease and aging cat. 🙁
- Accidentally buying tickets to a concert in the wrong city.
- Broken Apple Pencil. :’(
- Trying to get the basics of the Greek and Romanian languages simultaneously.
- Starting a new epicycle without having done a discovery.
- Getting vaccinated for Costa Rica - lotta jabs ahead of me.
- United States women’s national team struggling this world cup.
What we’re buying:
- Tape and chalk for climbing
- New monitor
- New 15” MacBook Air M2
- Tickets to see Eric Nam

- Flights/hotel for a trip to Amsterdam

What we’re celebrating:
- Finding a good massage studio.
- Planning an all-day pool party to entice some out-of-town friends to visit.
- Getting back into DragonRuby (finally) and continuing the DragonRuby tutorial. My dragon can shoot fireballs now!
- Going to an amazing Paramore concert.
- Naps +1.
- Southern food.
